Journalism
I am an advisor for an undergraduate newspaper publication. I believe deeply in freedom of expression and ethical journalism.
First Year Experience
I am passionate about helping students transition from high school to college. I serve as traditional undergraduate advisor and teach first-year orientation content and English composition.
Manga, Anime, Graphic Literature
My master’s thesis project for my M.A. in Publishing focused on the Manga market in America and how it can be corporated into the classroom.
Writing
In addition to teaching English composition, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College. I am an avid reader and poet.
fun fact: this is the final draft of my first poetry manuscript I turned in to finish my MFA.
